FINGER ELEVEN LAST NIGHT ON EARTH: WHO WILL SING WITH SCOTT ANDERSON?

October 10, 2026

Written By Caine Blackthorn

Finger Eleven are giving fans and fellow musicians a chance to become part of their latest release. The multi-platinum Canadian hard rock veterans have unveiled a new maxi-single featuring four versions of “Last Night on Earth,” alongside a global search for an artist to contribute their own interpretation of the track.

Released through Better Noise Music, the Finger Eleven Last Night on Earth maxi-single arrives ahead of the deluxe edition of the band’s latest album, Last Night on Earth, scheduled for November 6, 2026.

Rather than simply releasing another collection of alternate versions, Finger Eleven are opening the creative process to musicians around the world.

Finger Eleven Launch Last Night on Earth Duet Artist Search

The band has introduced the #F11LastNightDuet campaign, inviting singers and other artists to put their own creative stamp on “Last Night on Earth.”

Participants can add their own vocals to the track or rework its instrumental arrangement, sharing their interpretations on social media using the campaign hashtag.

The invitation isn’t limited to copying the original performance. Finger Eleven are encouraging artists to explore different emotional directions, vocal approaches, and musical arrangements.

Frontman Scott Anderson explains:

“We have always loved the idea of turning ‘Last Night on Earth’ into a duet. Putting the #F11LastNightDuet idea out to the artist community and leaving the creative boundaries open is key. We hope artists will bring their own style and emotion — whether by adding lyrics, adjusting the arrangement, or working within the existing framework. I’m excited to hear the different interpretations. I have no idea what to expect, and that’s exactly what I love about it.”

The campaign offers an unusual opportunity for emerging musicians to interact creatively with one of Canada’s most commercially successful hard rock bands.

While the search invites new voices into the music, there has been no announcement of a permanent vocalist change. Anderson remains Finger Eleven’s frontman.

Finger Eleven Last Night on Earth Deluxe Edition Arrives November 6

The new four-version maxi-single serves as a preview of the upcoming Finger Eleven Last Night on Earth Deluxe Edition, due November 6 through Better Noise Music.

By presenting multiple interpretations of the title track, the band highlights the song’s versatility while building anticipation for the expanded album release.

Fans can also revisit the official music video for the original version of “Last Night on Earth” and hear how the latest maxi-single explores the composition from different musical perspectives.

The deluxe release continues the album’s momentum following the success of the rock singles “Adrenaline” and “The Mountain,” both of which reached No. 1 on rock charts.

Finger Eleven Announce UK and Canadian Tour Dates

Finger Eleven aren’t slowing down on the live front, either.

The band will embark on a 12-city UK tour alongside SOiL, beginning October 30 at Chalk in Brighton. The run includes stops in Hull, Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester, Bristol, and additional cities before concluding November 14 at London’s Electric Ballroom.

In March 2027, Finger Eleven will return to Canada for their Last Night on Earth Tour, extending their touring schedule into the spring.

The upcoming performances give longtime fans and newer listeners another opportunity to experience the band’s extensive catalog alongside material from their latest album.

Finger Eleven Continue Their Hard Rock Legacy

With more than one billion career streams, Finger Eleven have maintained a substantial presence in international rock music.

The band’s lineup features Scott Anderson on vocals, James Black on lead guitar and backing vocals, Rick Jackett on rhythm guitar, Sean Anderson on bass, and Steve Molella on drums.

Their breakthrough singles “Paralyzer” and “One Thing” helped establish Finger Eleven as one of Canada’s most recognizable rock exports, while their continued success on rock radio has carried the band into another chapter of their career.

Following the release of their Greatest Hits collection, Last Night on Earth introduced another phase of the group’s musical evolution.

Now, with the Finger Eleven Last Night on Earth maxi-single and global duet campaign, the band is inviting a new generation of musicians to join the conversation.

Whether the search produces a dramatic reinterpretation, an unexpected vocal pairing, or something entirely outside the band’s established sound remains to be heard. For Finger Eleven, that’s part of the appeal.
