200 Stab Wounds Sweet Suicide is the latest assault from the Cleveland death metal band, released October 29, 2026, with a music video directed by Jami Morgan of Code Orange. The single previews Lowest Form, the group’s third full-length album, due February 19, 2027 through Metal Blade Records.
200 Stab Wounds Sweet Suicide: A Heavy Song With a Darker Meaning
The title might suggest shock for its own sake, but the band describes a more personal subject. In the official release announcement circulated by Earsplit Compound, 200 Stab Wounds explain that the lyrics confront anger, despair, confusion and the struggle to overcome personal demons, whether those struggles belong to the listener or to somebody they are trying to help. The group considers “Sweet Suicide” among the album’s heaviest songs, both musically and in subject matter.
That distinction is important. The song is not being presented as a celebration of self-destruction. It puts difficult emotions inside the band’s bruising death metal framework. Knotfest’s October 29 coverage describes a five-minute track that moves between a slower, punishing attack and outright speed, with the music intensifying alongside the lyrical tension.
Jami Morgan and NOWHERE2RUN Bring the Video to Life
The 200 Stab Wounds Sweet Suicide video was produced by NOWHERE2RUN, the visual production company associated with Code Orange members Jami Morgan and Eric Balderose. Morgan directed the clip, while Balderose served as director of photography, according to the video credits reported by SDMetal. It’s a crossover between two acts connected by heavy music but working in different sonic territories.
Rather than simply treating the clip as an accessory to the track, the collaboration gives 200 Stab Wounds a visual counterpart to its increasingly ambitious songwriting. The band’s existing official video is embedded below so readers can see that approach firsthand.
Lowest Form: Arthur Rizk Production and Eight New Tracks
Lowest Form follows the band’s 2024 record Manual Manic Procedures and is scheduled for February 19, 2027. Arthur Rizk, whose credits include Power Trip and Cavalera, produced, mixed and mastered the eight-song album; James Bousema created its cover artwork. The advance material includes the earlier single “Pangs of Conscience” and now “Sweet Suicide,” which occupies the third spot on the album’s track list.
According to the record’s announcement, the band is aiming for more than uninterrupted brutality: tighter arrangements, shifting dynamics and atmospheric details are part of the new material. It is an evolution of the sound heard on Manual Manic Procedures, rather than evidence of a wholesale change in direction. The full track list appears below, and fans can find the official Lowest Form release and preorder information on Bandcamp or visit Metal Blade’s 200 Stab Wounds page.
200 Stab Wounds Take Lowest Form on the Road in 2027
While listeners absorb 200 Stab Wounds Sweet Suicide, the band has an extensive European and U.K. run ahead with Whitechapel, Sylosis and Tribal Gaze. The announced itinerary begins January 22 in Leipzig, Germany and runs through March 2 in Warsaw, Poland, putting the band onstage throughout the album’s release window. Munich’s February 19 show falls on the record’s scheduled release date.
The footage, the band’s own explanation of the song and the lineup of collaborators make this more than an isolated video drop. For death metal fans, Lowest Form is shaping up as one to watch in early 2027. Hear “Sweet Suicide” above, then explore the album artwork, track list and personnel below.
