Evanescence have officially unleashed plans for a global 2026 tour. A full-scale, high-voltage collision of the most influential women in metal and alt rock. Amy Lee is rolling out with a murderers’ row of genre breaking women: Spiritbox, Poppy, Nova Twins, and K.Flay. That’s not a lineup, that’s an elemental force.
Call it what it is: a historic flex of feminine power in heavy music.
If this feels like the future of metal, that’s because it is.
Read how Amy Lee, Courtney LaPlante, and Poppy tore open the timeline in our latest Women in Metal Feature: Where the Real Revolution Is Happening
Forget the tired “female-fronted” label. The women in metal aren’t a subgenre, they’re the seismic activity reshaping the entire landscape. From guttural growls that could crack bedrock to ethereal vocals slicing through distortion like moonlight on steel, women are not just in the scene, they’re redefining it in real time.
They’re bandleaders, riff architects, scream technicians, multi-instrumental sorcerers. They’re out writing, out touring, and out innovating. All while blasting past the gatekeeping fossils who still think metal belongs to one type of person.
And 2026? It’s shaping up to be the year of the Great Feminine Uprising of Heavy Music with global tours (Evanescence + Spiritbox + Poppy + Nova Twins + K.Flay), genre-bending collaborations like “END OF YOU,” and FIGHT LIKE A GIRL, a tidal wave of artists proving that women aren’t here to “represent”…
They’re here to dominate. So welcome to Women in Metal.
A home for the voices lighting the torch, burning the old rulebook, and carrying heavy music into its next era.
This tour announcement didn’t arrive quietly. Over the last month, all four camps dropped cryptic, symbol laced teasers that had fans playing conspiracy theorist in group chats. Today, the fog lifted:
The world tour begins June 11th, 2026 in West Palm Beach, Florida, with Spiritbox and Nova Twins riding shotgun for the entire North American leg.
From there, the lineup becomes a rotating gauntlet of powerhouses:
Poppy plus K.Flay join the UK dates Poppy and Nova Twins take over Europe And then Evanescence return stateside for a massive Red Rocks show with K.Flay And yes, there’s one mysteriously blacked out date: July 18th. Something’s cooking.
Presales hit December 2nd. General sales drop December 5th. Expect instant sellouts.
THE COLLABS ARE ALREADY LEGENDARY
This tour intersects perfectly with one of the biggest moments in the women-in-metal movement: the new collaborative track “End of You” featuring Amy Lee, Courtney LaPlante (Spiritbox), and Poppy, the Holy Trinity nobody dared to dream about until it dropped on September 4th, 2025.
Three women. Three different sonic worlds. One monster anthem.
And Amy isn’t done:
“Fight Like a Girl” with K.Flay A brand new Evanescence album on the horizon And the possibility, finally of hearing all these collabs live on the same stage.
AMY LEE ON HER ALL-WOMEN LIGHTNING STRIKE
When Rolling Stone asked Amy about the lineup, she didn’t sugarcoat it:
“I’m very excited to be touring with such amazing women and bands. This has been a big year for collaborations… I want to bring all of us together and bring these songs to life on stage.”
That’s the heart of this tour. Not a “female-fronted” gimmick. Not a side-stage afterthought. But a full-scale world tour powered by women who have reshaped modern heavy music and refused to ask permission.
Amy also confirmed the next Evanescence LP is nearly complete and could drop early 2026. She’s focused on the words, on saying something that matters. And honestly? It shows.
