Stop whatever you’re doing because we just got the kind of three-way every metal fan secretly fantasized about colliding in one track.”Evanescence’s powerhouse Amy Lee, Spiritbox’s ethereal banshee Courtney LaPlante, and the ever enigmatic Poppy have collided in glorious chaos on a brand new single, End Of You. And yes, there’s a video and it’s every bit as dramatic as the names on the bill.

The hype machine started cranking last week when all three dropped a cryptic shot of themselves together, and fans promptly lost their collective minds. Then came teaser clips tiny tastes that only stoked the fire. Today, the full storm hit, courtesy of Sumerian Records .

This isn’t the first time these voices have crossed wires. Poppy and Spiritbox linked up onstage at Louder Than Life in 2023 for a live rendition of Soft Spine, while Courtney found herself hilariously mistaken for Poppy on the Grammys red carpet earlier this year, a mix-up she handled with sharp wit that instantly went viral.

Meanwhile, Evanescence have been stirring the pot, booking September headline shows around their slot with My Chemical Romance and yet another Louder Than Life appearance, with Poppy along for the ride. LaPlante’s Spiritbox have been unstoppable too, with their sophomore record Tsunami Sea crashing hard earlier this year, and Poppy dropping her latest full-length Negative Spaces in 2024. As for Amy? She’s got her eye on Evanescence’s next full-length, set for 2026, while the band trickles out new singles like Afterlife and Fight Like A Girl.

Whether End Of You is a one-off supernova or a glimpse at what’s coming next, one thing’s clear, the queens of modern metal have joined forces, and we’re all blessed (and maybe a little wrecked) because of it.
