Today, Canadian progressive metal powerhouse Anciients are releasing a re-recorded version of “Humanist”. via Season of Mist. This song originally appeared on the 2x JUNO Award winning band’s debut EP, Snakebeard. It’s one of the first songs they ever recorded, and also, one of their heaviest. This re-recording benefits from improved production and the band’s new rhythm section, along with guest vocals from original guitarist Chris Dyck.
At the end of the month, Anciients are heading out on their first tour of Europe and the UK since they won their first JUNO Award for 2016’s Voice of the Void.
