Two influential names in heavy music are joining forces for a 17-date U.S. tour in spring 2027. Florida metalcore pioneers Poison the Well and Canadian post-hardcore veterans Alexisonfire will share co-headlining duties, with Los Angeles post-hardcore band Touché Amoré providing support throughout the run.
The tour begins March 25 at South Side Ballroom in Dallas, Texas, before moving through the Southwest, California, the Midwest and the East Coast. The final scheduled performance takes place April 17 at Citizens House of Blues in Boston, Massachusetts.
Among the stops are the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on April 2, Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom on April 10, and Brooklyn Paramount in New York on April 14.
Heavy Music With a Purpose
Beyond bringing three respected acts together, the tour will also support a charitable initiative.
Poison the Well and Alexisonfire have partnered with PLUS1, an organization that connects artists and live events with charitable causes. Through the partnership, $1 from every ticket sold will support efforts to protect people experiencing homelessness and address the cycle of homelessness and poverty.
The initiative gives the tour an additional purpose beyond the performances, using the reach of live music to contribute to communities facing serious economic hardship.
Three Distinct Voices in Heavy Music
For Poison the Well, the announcement follows the release of Peace in Place in 2026, the band’s first studio album in 15 years. The Miami group’s combination of metallic aggression, melodic vulnerability and emotionally intense songwriting helped establish a distinctive approach to metalcore.
Alexisonfire bring their own blend of post-hardcore intensity, contrasting vocal styles and atmospheric songwriting. Their most recent studio album, Otherness, arrived in 2022.
Touché Amoré complete the lineup with their emotionally charged take on post-hardcore, bringing another distinctive sound to a bill that spans several generations of the genre’s evolution.
Rather than assembling three interchangeable acts, the tour brings together bands whose different approaches helped shape the broader landscape of modern heavy music.
