Currents Our Fates Lie in Tandem Retributioner brings a major announcement from the Connecticut metalcore band: their fourth studio album, Our Fates Lie in Tandem, is due February 12, 2027, and the new single “Retributioner” introduces the next chapter.
The announcement arrives with a new single, “Retributioner,” and marks the band’s move to Rise Records. It follows 2023’s The Death We Seek, a record that helped establish Currents among the more visible names in contemporary metalcore.
For listeners following the evolution of modern heavy music, this is the important part: a new full-length cycle is underway, with a track available now rather than just a distant release-date promise.
CURRENTS kick off a co-headlining European tour with ERRA on November 2, CASKETS and AVIANA will support on all dates. Tickets are available via Currentsofficial.com.
