The new Kulk single ‘We’re Worried About You‘, is out today on Church Road Records! The single is taken from their forthcoming album ‘Choosing to Die’, out 28th August.
“‘We’re Worried About You’ was the final track to be finished. We ended up writing most of it in the studio and then the lyrics that evening. In turn, it became reflective of the moment. At that time I had been surrounded by a general anxiety that loved ones would end their own life. It seemed right that the album referenced sonically this grief-based psychosis, that the album felt like it was causing.” – Kulk
Kulk is a two person band, composed of Thom [guitar/vocals] and Jade [drums/synth], the band is simultaneously an exploration into human suffering and an extension of their relationship. Kulk reflects exactly what heavy music is, aggressive and brutal yet ultimately made out of love for the ones around us. They pride themselves on their energetic and chaotic live performance.
