Australian technical death metal veterans Psycroptic have announced a North American headlining tour this fall in support of their latest album, The Pulse Of Annihilation. Dubbed The Pulse Of Annihilation Tour, the month-long trek kicks off on November 5 in Clifton, New Jersey, before wrapping up on December 6 in Brooklyn, New York.
Joining Psycroptic on the run will be fellow extreme metal heavyweights Inferi, Cognitive, and Summoning The Lich, making for a stacked lineup that promises a relentless night of technical death metal across the United States and Canada.
The North American dates follow a busy international schedule for the Tasmanian outfit, including Australian performances alongside labelmates Rivers Of Nihil and a series of Japanese shows with The Zenith Passage, both fellow Metal Blade Records artists.
Drummer David Haley shared his excitement about returning to North America:

Released on July 17 through Metal Blade Records, The Pulse Of Annihilation continues Psycroptic’s evolution while remaining firmly rooted in the band’s signature technical precision. Rather than relying solely on complexity, the album balances intricate musicianship with stronger songwriting and focused arrangements, showcasing a band that continues to refine its craft after more than two decades.
The record once again features the dual vocal attack of Jason Peppiatt and Jason Keyser of Origin, expanding on the collaboration first introduced on Divine Council. Peppiatt’s deep growls and Keyser’s razor-sharp delivery create a powerful contrast that complements Psycroptic’s tightly wound riffs, blistering drumming, and intricate compositions.
Critical response to the album has been overwhelmingly positive. Wall Of Sound praised it as “an outstanding addition to their legacy,” while Deaf Forever highlighted the band’s sharper songwriting and dynamic arrangements. Metal Injection celebrated the release as “another sonic smorgasbord of heavy riffs and drum strikes,” calling it an even more intense experience than previous efforts.
With a fresh album earning widespread acclaim and a full North American headlining tour on the horizon, Psycroptic continue to reinforce their reputation as one of technical death metal’s most enduring and forward-thinking bands.
