Metalhead Horoscope By Metal Lair – The Weekly Forecast

75 EDITIONS OF COSMIC CARNAGE!

Welcome to the 75th edition of Metal Lair’s Metalhead Horoscope! That’s 75 weeks of planetary bullshit, celestial catastrophes, questionable cosmic advice, and twelve zodiac signs getting dragged through the mosh pit. The stars haven’t learned to behave, and neither have we. Here’s to 75 more weeks of raising hell in the heavens!

COSMIC CHAOS: THE TRUTH IS COMING OUT, AND SOMEBODY’S ABOUT TO GET EXPOSED

Don’t let the quiet opening fool you. This week’s planetary lineup starts with a low, ominous rumble before somebody cranks the amplifier to eleven, blows the speakers, and sets the entire fucking stage on fire.

And guess who’s conducting this celestial shitshow? MERCURY RETROGRADE. Yes, that slippery little bastard is still moving backward through Scorpio, digging through the universe’s dirty laundry and uncovering things certain people would rather leave buried.

Hidden information. Conveniently forgotten promises. Facts that somehow got rearranged until the original truth was barely recognizable.

Apparently, Mercury has decided it’s time for a little investigative journalism, and nobody gets to hide behind the backstage curtain.

But before you start pointing fingers at every lying asshole you’ve ever encountered, there’s another possibility worth considering.

Sometimes people deliberately deceive us. Sometimes they tell us exactly what we want to hear. And sometimes? We do the fucking deceiving ourselves.

We hear what we WANT to hear, ignore every screaming warning sign, and convince ourselves that a spectacularly terrible idea is actually the opportunity of a lifetime. Congratulations. You’ve just bought VIP tickets to a concert that never fucking existed.

This week, the Sun and Mercury are getting particularly close in Scorpio, while retrograde Venus is busy questioning our relationships, values, and the promises we’ve been foolish enough to believe.

Meanwhile, the Moon meets Mars and Jupiter in Leo early in the week, cranking emotions and reactions to stadium-headliner levels.

And Saturn, Neptune, and the North Node are adding their own complicated arrangements to this celestial disaster. Neptune, naturally, is still selling illusions like a shady concert promoter advertising a legendary reunion featuring absolutely none of the original musicians.

But here’s the problem with illusions. People don’t necessarily believe something because it’s true. They believe it because they desperately WANT it to be true.

Everybody wants the spectacular stage production. Nobody bothers checking whether the band can actually play. And this week, the universe is demanding a SOUND CHECK.

With Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune retrograde, along with Chiron, the cosmic setlist is overflowing with unfinished business.

Old decisions. Questionable loyalties. Broken promises. Grand declarations that sounded impressive until somebody asked to see the actual results.

This week’s message is about PRACTICALITY, INTEGRITY, and RESULTS. Do your best work because it matters to YOU. Keep your promises because your word should mean something. And stop confusing impressive performances with genuine substance.

The truth might sting. Discovering that somebody you trusted was full of shit can feel like finding out your favorite band has been lip-syncing the entire tour. But sometimes the biggest betrayal isn’t what somebody else told us. It’s what we convinced ourselves to believe.

Now, let’s see which of you twelve zodiac disasters is ready to face the music, and which ones are still arguing with the sound engineer because reality doesn’t match their imaginary setlist.

SIGN ROAST OF THE WEEK: SAGITTARIUS – THE UNFILTERED THRASHHOLE

Sagittarius, you’re a walking Slayer soundcheck with the impulse control of a drunk stage diver and the emotional maturity of a bassist banned from six venues. You mistake verbal diarrhea for brutal honesty and call everyone else a poser. Shut the fuck up. Nobody bought a ticket to your personality disorder of a guitar solo.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Metalhead Horoscope For Aries

Your instincts are sharper than a freshly sharpened battle axe this week, Aries, so pay attention to those gut feelings and strange dreams. They might be pointing you toward something worth pursuing.

Unfortunately, with six cosmic troublemakers in reverse, getting shit done could feel like dragging a Marshall stack through quicksand. Keep pushing.

And when somebody starts making grand promises, demand receipts before buying the bullshit. Your home, friends, and family deserve protection, not another backstage drama.

Your Lucky Song of The Week: Darkest Hour – Salvation

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)

Metalhead Horoscope For Taurus

Your financial future could be looking brighter than a pyro explosion at a KISS concert, Taurus. Pay attention to strange dreams and gut feelings because your instincts might be onto something profitable.

But beware of smooth-talking assholes promising you the world and delivering a broken guitar string. Have a backup plan for every brilliant idea. These retrogrades might throw a few roadblocks in your path, but stay the course. Fortune favors the stubborn bastard who refuses to quit.

Your Lucky Song of The Week: As I Lay Dying – The Cost to Stay

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 20)

Metalhead Horoscope For Gemini

This week, Gemini, communication is everything, so quit sending mixed signals like a guitarist with a busted pedalboard. Say what you mean and back it up with action.

New opportunities are heading your way, but integrity is your backstage pass to success. Listen when somebody offers a better idea, and don’t let that oversized ego stop you from asking for help.

Your future depends on the relationships you build, so stop acting like you can headline the entire fucking festival alone.

Your Lucky Song of The Week: Xavleg– Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia

Cancer (Jun 21 – Jul 22)

Metalhead Horoscope For Cancer

Time to patch up those battle scars, Cancer, whether they’re physical, mental, or emotional. Your instincts are picking up opportunities everyone else is too fucking oblivious to notice.

With Venus and Mercury in reverse, something you thought you’d missed could come roaring back for an encore. But keep your brilliant ideas and emotional breakdowns backstage for now.

People are hearing whatever the hell they want instead of what you’re actually saying. Not every thought needs a microphone, you sensitive little doom metal ballad.

Your Lucky Song of The Week: Imminence – Crestfallen

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 22)

Metalhead Horoscope For Leo

The universe has shoved you center stage again, Leo, but with all these retrogrades, everyone seems determined to misunderstand your performance.

Meanwhile, unexpected connections are forming backstage, and some could turn into valuable friendships, romances, or business opportunities. One thing leads to another, so quit trying to control the entire setlist.

Don’t waste your energy deciphering every sideways glance or cryptic comment. Just watch, listen, and let the chaos unfold. For once in your life, you don’t have to be the loudest person in the room.

Your Lucky Song of The Week: Saxon – Medusa

Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

Metalhead Horoscope For Virgo

Put down your imaginary clipboard, Virgo. This week, your job is to watch, listen, and resist the urge to critique every idiot within a five-mile radius.

Somebody’s going to reveal something important, so file it away for later. Meanwhile, higher-ups could be watching you for a promotion or bigger opportunity, so try behaving like a professional instead of a pissed-off tour manager.

And remember, success isn’t always a solo act. Start thinking WE instead of ME, you perfectionist little control freak.

Your Lucky Song of The Week: Cloak – Nigredo

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 23)

Metalhead Horoscope For Libra

Your intuition is cranking louder than a Motörhead soundcheck, Libra, and those random gut feelings aren’t just cosmic indigestion. Something that makes zero sense now could become crystal clear when the next disaster unfolds.

Consider it a backstage pass to information everyone else missed. But don’t hoard the wisdom, you charming little fence-sitter.

Somebody around you is about to follow the herd straight off a cliff, and your instincts could save their ass. Speak up when it matters. The loyalty you build now could last longer than Keith Richards.

Your Lucky Song of The Week: Wardruna – Helvegen II

Scorpio (Oct 24 – Nov 22)

Metalhead Horoscope For Scorpio

You can practically smell what’s coming, Scorpio, but just when you’re ready to unleash hell, the universe slams on the brakes. Those retrogrades are testing your patience, and we all know how beautifully you handle being told NO.

But your decisions could affect other people, so maybe don’t go full black metal dictator just yet. When something unexpectedly stalls, look for what you’ve overlooked instead of threatening to burn the entire venue down. Sometimes the universe isn’t screwing you over. It’s saving your stubborn ass from disaster.

Your Lucky Song of The Week: Entheos – Hell Is a Part of Me

Sagittarius (Nov 23 – Dec 21)

Metalhead Horoscope For Sagittarius

Your emotions are running hotter than a Slayer mosh pit, Sagittarius, and your impulse control is hanging by a broken guitar string. The good news? Your cosmic forecast looks fucking fantastic.

The bad news? One spectacularly stupid decision could derail the whole damn tour. Don’t gamble on promises, take unnecessary risks, or mistake somebody else’s confidence for actual competence.

Slow down, think things through, and resist the urge to set everything on fire just because you can. Time is on your side, you beautiful reckless lunatic.

Your Lucky Song of The Week: Suicide Silence – Graceless

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Metalhead Horoscope For Capricorn

Patience is practically your religion, Capricorn, but this week somebody’s going to try rushing you like a roadie five minutes before showtime. Fuck that.

The harder they push, the slower you should move. Those tiny details everyone else ignores could turn out to be the difference between a sold-out tour and a spectacular financial disaster.

Read the fine print, question assumptions, and don’t let some impatient asshole dictate your tempo. Time is on your side, you stubborn old-school metalhead. Make them wait.

Your Lucky Song of The Week: Enslaved – I Am Ice

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

Metalhead Horoscope For Aquarius

While everyone else is recycling the same tired riffs, Aquarius, you’re composing an entirely new genre of chaos. Your imagination is your greatest weapon, and it’s about to get you noticed.

Those retrogrades might be slowing your rise to rockstar status, but destiny is working behind the scenes. Don’t get impatient and sabotage your own breakthrough.

When the timing clicks, your ascent could leave everyone wondering how the hell you became the headliner. Keep creating, you magnificent weirdo. The universe is saving you the biggest stage.

Your Lucky Song of The Week: Stfur – Avatar of Death

Pisces (Feb 19 – March 20)

Metalhead Horoscope For Pisces

You’ve got all the cards, Pisces, but apparently the universe wrote the instructions in ancient Norwegian black metal runes. Don’t panic. Roll with the chaos, keep your integrity intact, and resist the temptation to bullshit your way through uncertainty.

This week’s cosmic lineup has serious rags-to-riches potential, but consistency is everything. If you make a promise, fucking keep it. Your reputation is worth more than a backstage pass to Valhalla. Play your cards right, and you might go from opening act to headliner before anyone sees it coming.

Your Lucky Song of The Week: The End of Melancholy – Witch

THE FINAL RIFF: TRUST THE MUSIC, QUESTION THE BULLSHIT

That’s your cosmic forecast for the week, you beautiful collection of headbanging disasters!

Mercury’s digging up secrets, the retrogrades are screwing with everyone’s timing, and the universe is demanding something apparently rarer than an affordable concert ticket: HONESTY AND ACCOUNTABILITY.

Trust your instincts, question the promises, and remember that not every asshole with a microphone deserves an audience. Keep your horns high, your bullshit detector calibrated, and your integrity louder than a Motörhead encore.

Until next week, stay loud, stay dangerous, and don’t let the universe catch you lip-syncing your way through life.

Metalhead Horoscope F.A.Q.

Q: Are these horoscopes real astrology or just jokes for metalheads?

A: Both. The horoscopes come from actual astrological forecasts, but the language is written in pure metalhead tongue- in-cheek because you deserve prophecy that sounds like a pit, not a PTA meeting.

Q: How do we pick the Lucky Song of the Week?

A: Each track is hand picked to echo the week’s cosmic vibe. If Mars is throwing horns, expect riffs sharp enough to cut steel. If the Moon is weeping in Virgo, you’ll get a track that slays with precision. No boring playlists, no cookie cutter picks. Just new drops, deep cuts and cult classics.

Q: Can metal really mix with astrology?

A: Of course. Both are about cycles, transformation, and intensity. Astrology tells you where the stars are screaming and metal tells you how to scream back.

Q: Why should I care about astrology if I only worship riffs and distortion?

A: Because the cosmos is basically the ultimate tour manager that’s setting the stage, flipping the lights, and sometimes cancelling the gig. You don’t have to believe in it to bang your head to it.

Q: Do we take requests for Lucky Songs in our horoscopes?

A: Absolutely. Drop your ideas in the comments or shoot us a message. We might just spin your favorite band into the cosmic setlist next week.

Q: Does Metal Lair have other series like this?

A: Yes! Metal Lair runs several signature series that explore every corner of heavy music:

  • Seven Deadly Songs – A weekly roundup of the most unholy new releases.
  • Deep Cuts: Metal’s Hidden Gems and lost recordings from rock and metal history.
  • A Rip in Time: Women in Metal – A series celebrating the voices, pioneers, and rule-breakers reshaping heavy music’s DNA
  • World Metal Weekly – A global passport through the underground, one country at a time.
  • Ministry of Metal – A satirical authority devoted to the laws, rituals, and unspoken rules of heavy music. Features proclamations, decrees, cultural edicts, metal lore, and an original comic book series, all delivered with humor and bite.
  • Metal Legacy Profiles – Deep dive essays honoring artists who shaped metal’s sound, culture, and philosophy. These aren’t timelines or greatest-hits lists, but examinations of impact, conflict, evolution, and what each figure left behind.
  • Road Riffs: Metal On The Map – We take metal beyond the speakers and onto the highway, exploring legendary venues, scene-defining cities, historic landmarks, local haunts, and travel stops tied to real
metal scenes around the world that every metalhead should experience.
