1. Fleshgod Apocalypse – At War With My Soul. Album: Opera via Nuclear Blast Records/Sharptone Records

As “At War With My Soul” commences, it evokes an operatic version of “Ave Satani” from The Omen, resembling a Satanic twist on a Gregorian chant with intense black mass vibes. Just 27 seconds in, you’re hit with a nuclear blast of hardcore, face-melting death metal as Paoli’s beastly roar blasts right through you. 2. Sybreed – System Debaser. Album: 20th anniversary re-release Slave Design via Aggregate Media

Swiss metal outfit Sybreed will release their long awaited iconic 2004 album Slave Design that will feature a full remaster by Jens Bogren, stunning new artwork by Erik Kirchner, and two newly recorded tracks, including the modern version of “Bioactive” and the previously unreleased “System Debaser“. The revamped edition is set for release on October 4, with CD pre-orders available now with vinyl preorders to be announced later this year. The single “System Debaser“, which was originally a 2003 demo, that has since been recorded in 2023 and included in the band’s upcoming fully remastered Slave Design 20th Anniversary Edition, which will be out October 4th.

Sybreed’s new track, “System Debaser,” is a thrilling journey through sound, blending industrial-strength grooves with cutting-edge electronics. Originally composed in 2003 and tucked away during the Slave Design pre-production, this song has finally been brought to life in 2023, showcasing its true brilliance. 3. The Halo Effect – Detonate. Album: March of The Unheard via Nuclear Blast Records

The Halo Effect has unveiled their highly anticipated sophomore album, March Of The Unheard, scheduled for release on January 10th through Nuclear Blast Records. Featuring five seasoned musicians from Swedish melodic death metal icons In Flames: guitarist Jesper Strömblad, drummer Daniel Svensson, bassist Peter Iwers, guitarist Niclas Engelin, and vocalist Mikael Stanne.With this much talent the new album is bound to be exceptional. the band has also released the lead single, “Detonate,” along with a captivating music video directed by Johan Carlén. 5. Spiritbox – Soft Spine via Rise Records

Debuting as an independent single, this new release from the Canadian metal band coincides with their upcoming North American tour alongside Gojira and KoRn. Courtney LaPlante and her bandmates unleash their distinctive, explosive sound, featuring the intense growls that initially garnered them attention. This track represents Spiritbox’s first fresh material since their The Fear of Fear EP dropped last year.

6. Heriot – Opaline. Album: Devoured By The Mouth of Hell via Century Media Records

UK metal trailblazers HERIOT are set to release their highly anticipated debut album, Devoured by the Mouth of Hell, on September 27th via Century Media.
