Mastiff Release New Single ‘Decimated Graves’ Via Church Road Records

Whether spreading plagues, turning the Earth to ash or teetering on the precipice of depression, you can always count on Kingston Upon Hull’s premier misery merchants Mastiff to ruin your day. Now well over a decade into their parade of embittered misanthropy, the East Yorkshire quintet have definitively burned their mark into the UK’s extreme music scene with a fistful of mangled hardcore and sludge riffs and an endless well of spite.

This track is the second single from their forthcoming EP ‘For All the Dead Dreams’, out 24th October via Church Road Records.

The band have this to say about the track:

“Despite having every intention of writing a mostly hardcore-leaning EP, ‘Decimated Graves’ spewed itself out of us and all bets were off. The track is something of a scathing assault on anyone enabling the current genocide happening in Gaza, and musically feels like a spiritual successor to ‘Acid Breather’ – our track from the Cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack – a kinda grind/death hybrid with lots of nauseating riffs and blasts, which then lurches into a massive wall of doom at the end that feels like a return to the sound Mastiff specialised in for our first couple of releases.” – Mastiff
