Finnish/American Metal band Eradication of the Unworthy Infants “Unveiling ‘Highly Favored’: A Power-Packed EP with SODEH Records!
This EP has been a labor of love for over a year now. As soon as we released our full-length album in January 2022, we immediately dove back into writing. The process was fascinating because the songs were born in spontaneous moments, knowing that my move to Boston was imminent. However, it wasn’t until earlier this year when we embarked on our Changes 2023 tour that we had the chance to hit the studio and fine-tune these tracks. Being back in Finland reunited us with our supportive community, and it allowed us to create some of the most incredible music videos yet.
The title “Highly Favored” has profound meaning to us. It represents our commitment to reaching the highest possible standards in our music, leaving no room for compromises. To be “highly favored” means to stay authentic, grounded, and secure—a set of qualities that nobody should overlook. These songs were crafted during a pivotal period in both our band’s journey and our personal lives. They mirror the range of emotions we experience while managing the perpetual motion machine that is EOUI, as well as our individual journeys.
As we move forward, we keep our eyes fixed on the horizon. New music is already in the works, and we can’t wait to share it with you all during our future tour stops in your city. – Jad Batrouny – Vocals
