MERCYFUL FATE, ELECTRIC CALLBOY and MOTIONLESS IN WHITE will headline the Ronnie James Dio Stage. The appearance marks MOTIONLESS IN WHITE’s first European festival headline performance and their only UK show of 2027.
The Sophie Lancaster Stage will be headlined across the weekend by MADBALL, GAEREA, KANONENFIEBER and DETHKLOK.
The first wave also features ACID BATH, GREEN LUNG, CHILDREN OF BODOM, DEVILDRIVER, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, IMMINENCE, WIND ROSE, SYLOSIS, DECAPITATED, WITCH CLUB SATAN, HAMMERFALL, HYPOCRISY, THE HALO EFFECT, TORTURED DEMON, GUTALAX, HUMANITY’S LAST BREATH, CONAN, DOOL, PIG DESTROYER and FULCI.
Chris Motionless commented on MOTIONLESS IN WHITE’s first Bloodstock appearance:
“Bloodstock! We were told that we are one of the most requested bands to perform at your legendary festival, so it is with great honor to announce that we are answering the call and will be seeing you next year for our first ever European festival headlining show, and only UK show of 2027! Thank you so much! Let the countdown begin.”
King Diamond is also looking ahead to the band’s return to Catton Park, which is expected to follow the arrival of the band’s long-awaited new album.
“MERCYFUL FATE is honored and looking extremely forward to playing Bloodstock again, last time was awesome, and this time with a brand new album out, FINALLY!!!”
ELECTRIC CALLBOY will make their Bloodstock debut in 2027.
“Our first ever Bloodstock. Heavy music, questionable outfits, and thousands of metalheads? Sounds like a perfect fit to us. We’re in. See you there!”
Bloodstock Festival 2027 takes place August 5–8, 2027 at Catton Park, Derbyshire, UK.
Additional bands and festival details are expected to be announced in the months ahead.
