Metalhead Horoscope By Metal Lair – The Weekly Forecast
Cosmic Chaos: Retrogrades, Rebellion & the Aftermath
The planets are raising hell again, and apparently, the universe hasn’t finished teaching us a few lessons. Welcome to another week of cosmic turbulence, where the retrogrades are cranked to eleven and the celestial setlist is full of unfinished business.
Retrogrades have a nasty habit of dragging old problems back onto the stage for an encore nobody requested. Relationships gone sideways, decisions that came back to bite us, opportunities we overlooked because we were too busy headbanging through the warning signs. Suddenly, everything looks different when you’re forced to view it from the center of the pit.
But don’t mistake a change in perspective for the whole truth. Just because the universe flashes a possibility in your face doesn’t mean it’s destined to happen.
These planetary reversals aren’t handing out guaranteed outcomes. They’re exposing the cracks in the foundation and challenging us to figure out what needs fixing.
And here’s where things get personal. This week’s planetary lineup digs into the emotional underbelly of our lives, particularly the areas where we keep playing the same depressing song on repeat.
Depending on your birth chart, those recurring problems might involve relationships, communication breakdowns, buried frustrations, or choices we’ve been avoiding for far too long.
If you keep finding yourself in the same argument, facing the same disappointment, or wondering why certain people seem permanently tuned to a different frequency, the retrogrades are turning up the volume on whatever you’ve been refusing to confront.
No elaborate guitar solo. No atmospheric two-minute intro. Straight into the breakdown.
The good news? This cosmic wreckage isn’t entirely destructive. There’s a method buried beneath the distortion. With the planets spread more evenly across the chart, we’re being given an opportunity to examine our circumstances from several angles instead of blindly charging toward the first available exit.
And Pluto has finally gone direct. Cue the triumphant double-kick drums and a stadium full of metalheads losing their collective minds.
That shift signals a turning point. Questions that have been haunting the backstage corridors of your brain may finally start producing answers. Solutions that seemed buried beneath six feet of cosmic bullshit might begin clawing their way to the surface.
But don’t start celebrating like the festival’s closing headliner just yet. Five planets are still retrograde, which means the universe has a few more tracks left on this particular album of chaos. There are still lessons to learn, perspectives to reconsider, and a few uncomfortable truths waiting in the wings.
We’ve survived the wall of death. Now comes the aftermath, where we survey the damage, salvage what’s worth keeping, and decide what deserves to be left in the rubble.
The message this week? Rise above the noise, question what you think you know, and don’t confuse temporary confusion with permanent defeat.
The stars may be running the soundboard, but you’re still holding the damn microphone.
Now turn it up. I’ve got twelve signs to roast.
Sign Roast: Libra
Libra: The Headliner Called. They Want Their Fucking Spotlight Back.
Libra, you insufferably beautiful bastard. You bought a general admission ticket and somehow became the main attraction.
The headliner is up there shredding their ass off, the vocalist is practically coughing up a lung, and half the audience is filming YOU standing at the barricade looking like a Greek god in a leather jacket.
The guitarist just nailed a solo he’s spent twenty years perfecting, but congratulations, your cheekbones are apparently more impressive. Even the security guards are distracted.
And the worst part? You’re pretending you haven’t noticed. Please, for the love of Satan, develop an unattractive personality trait. The band would like its fucking concert back.
FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE METAL LAIR COMPLAINT DEPARTMENT
Have a metal-related grievance that needs official investigation?
Bad concert etiquette? Venue bullshit? Festival fuckery? A trend in metal that needs to die? An industry annoyance? Something that’s been pissing you off since 1987? Have a complaint against Metal Lair?
FILE YOUR COMPLAINT
File it with the Complaint Department. Remmy may investigate your grievance in a future installment.
Selected grievances may be investigated, mocked, dissected or otherwise subjected to the questionable judgment of Remmy Chillmister in a future edition of The Metal Lair Complaint Department.
Submission does not guarantee investigation. Remmy has a substantial backlog of things that piss him off.
Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)
Metalhead Horoscope For Aries
All Riffs, No Fucking Restraint
Aries, you’ve got enough creative firepower to launch your own metal festival, but maybe try accomplishing something before setting the stage on fire.
Your talents could finally earn you some serious recognition, provided you stop treating every opportunity like a battle of the bands you absolutely must win.
This is a long game, not a thirty-second grindcore track. People are starting to notice you, and some might even be impressed. Shocking, considering your usual approach involves kicking down doors that were already open.
Enjoy the applause, but keep your ego on a leash. There’s only room for one Yngwie Malmsteen.
Your Lucky Song of The Week: Dieth – Pound of Flesh
Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)
Metalhead Horoscope For Taurus
Don’t Blow Your Load Before the Encore
Taurus, things are going suspiciously well, which means you’re about three seconds away from doing something monumentally stupid.
You’ve got opportunities coming, but charging into them like a drunken Viking at a festival is not a strategy. Pace yourself. Rest between sets. Ask for backup when needed.
The next few months demand endurance, not some heroic attempt to blow out your entire nervous system before the encore. And whatever you do, keep your integrity intact. Selling your soul for a shortcut is a terrible investment, especially when the devil probably charges interest.
Your Lucky Song of The Week: Peelingflesh – Crackology
Gemini (May 21 – Jun 20)
Metalhead Horoscope For Gemini
The Past Called. It Wants Another Fucking Encore.
Gemini, remember all that unfinished bullshit you thought you’d buried? Congratulations, it’s back on tour, and apparently you’ve got front-row tickets. Old problems, awkward conversations, and relationships running on more distortion than a Sunn O))) concert are demanding attention.
You might have to admit you’ve been wrong about something. Try not to choke on your own pride. Change is coming, and fighting it will only make you look like the guy still insisting metal died in 1986.
Keep an open mind, even when wisdom comes from someone whose music taste makes you physically ill. Your next big breakthrough might arrive wearing a Nickelback shirt. Terrifying, isn’t it?
Your Lucky Song of The Week: Staind – Ghosts
Cancer (Jun 21 – Jul 22)
Metalhead Horoscope For Cancer
Cry Me a River, Then Build a Damn Bridge
Cancer, the universe is dragging a few secrets out from backstage, and naturally, you’ve already composed an entire doom metal trilogy about how it makes you feel.
But here’s a plot twist: some of those revelations are actually opportunities. Channel that emotional intensity into something productive instead of emotionally waterboarding your friends with another seventeen-minute explanation of your feelings.
Take things one riff at a time. Meanwhile, you’re attracting attention like a suspiciously attractive stranger in the VIP section. Romance could be brewing, relationships might improve, and somebody might actually appreciate your sensitive side. Just don’t plan the wedding during the opening act.
Your Lucky Song of The Week: Eivør – Og Mánin Græt / And The Moon Cried
Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 22)
Metalhead Horoscope For Leo
Somebody Unplug This Walking Spotlight
Leo, for the love of Lemmy, ANOTHER good week? At this point, we’re investigating whether you’ve been bribing the planets with backstage passes.
Your intuition is apparently operating at supernatural levels, and people are lining up to admire your magnificent existence. Again. But before you declare yourself the reincarnation of Ronnie James Dio, remember that not all the information is in yet.
Trust your instincts, avoid impulsive decisions, and let things unfold without turning every minor development into a press conference.
The universe is on your side, your admirers are multiplying, and your ego has probably requested its own tour bus. Can the other eleven signs get a fucking break?
Your Lucky Song of The Week: Grymheart – Demon of Dreams
Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 22)
Metalhead Horoscope For Virgo
Shut The Fuck Up Before You Start a War
Virgo, your brain’s running faster than a blast beat, and your mouth is dangerously close to starting a pit fight nobody asked for.
Those retrogrades have your intuition buried under so much distortion you can’t tell a warning sign from a guitar solo. Slow the hell down. Think before you speak, concentrate on the gig in front of you, and stop rehearsing disasters that haven’t happened.
And before you start telling everyone else how to tune their instruments, check your own damn strings. Nobody appointed you the quality-control inspector of the entire metal scene.
Your Lucky Song of The Week: Mouth Ulcers – Lady Rust
Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 23)
Metalhead Horoscope For Libra
Less Drama, More Damn Riffs
Libra, the universe is finally giving you a backstage breather, so quit looking for trouble between sets.
Your creative juices are flowing harder than a guitarist’s fingers during a twenty-minute prog epic. Write those twisted ideas down before they disappear into the beer-soaked abyss.
You’ve got unfinished business waiting, and getting off your ass will be harder than getting a black metal purist to admit they like Ghost.
But once you start, your energy comes roaring back. Even a few battered relationships might find their way back into harmony. Just don’t confuse making peace with inviting the same assholes backstage again.
Your Lucky Song of The Week: Doro – You R Not Alone
Scorpio (Oct 24 – Nov 22)
Metalhead Horoscope For Scorpio
Evolve or Become a Washed-Up Cover Band
Scorpio, it’s time to check the foundations before your entire kingdom of darkness collapses. Friends, family, and relationships you’ve neglected need some attention, so crawl out of your crypt and reconnect with the living.
Those retrogrades have been causing more communication breakdowns than a dysfunctional metal band on its third lineup change.
But here’s the kicker: your old tricks aren’t cutting it anymore. Adapt, evolve, and stop playing the same tired setlist. The universe expects a headliner, not some washed-up tribute act still living off its glory days. Raise your horns and prove you’ve still got it.
Your Lucky Song of The Week: Insomnium – The Hour Grows Late
Sagittarius (Nov 23 – Dec 21)
Metalhead Horoscope For Sagittarius
Psychic Powers, Zero Chill
Sagittarius, your intuition is sharper than a freshly tuned razor riff, but those retrogrades have you overthinking everything like a prog metal drummer trying to explain a 17/8 time signature.
Stop complicating shit. Your presence is apparently therapeutic this week, and people are gravitating toward you like metalheads to a free Iron Maiden show.
Great, spread the love, welcome a few new faces into your pit, but don’t become everyone’s unpaid emotional roadie. Help where you can, then get back to your own damn setlist. You’re a metalhead, not a 24-hour crisis hotline.
Your Lucky Song of The Week: Nordjevel – Unbound in Death
Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)
Metalhead Horoscope For Capricorn
Fortune Favors the Bastard Who Reads the Contract
Capricorn, you’ve survived the chaos, paid your dues, and now the universe might finally cough up some financial rewards.
Long-term prosperity is on the setlist, and your intuition is so sharp you’ll know who’s calling before your phone rings. Creepy, but useful.
Just don’t let your newfound psychic superpowers replace common sense. Spell everything out, especially when money or commitments are involved.
Get agreements in writing, read the fine print, and never trust a handshake from someone promising you a headline slot and paying you in beer. Even the devil reads his contracts.
Your Lucky Song of The Week: Dawn of Demise – Downcast
Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 18)
Metalhead Horoscope For Aquarius
The Freaks Are Running the Festival
Aquarius, congratulations, you magnificent freak. The universe has apparently decided you’re management material. But before you start demanding a private dressing room and blue M&Ms, remember that putting yourself first doesn’t mean telling everyone else to piss off.
Honor your commitments, establish some boundaries, and prepare for a few tests of character. Bigger opportunities and authority could be heading your way, but don’t sell your soul for a shiny backstage laminate.
Show off those gloriously bizarre talents without acting like you’re God’s gift to heavy metal. Even the weirdest headliner needs a little humility. Just a little. We wouldn’t want you becoming normal.
Your Lucky Song of The Week: The Hellflowers – Creature
Pisces (Feb 19 – March 20)
Metalhead Horoscope For Pisces
Doom, Gloom & Emotional Breakdown
Pisces, put down the funeral doom playlist and stop assuming every minor inconvenience is the opening track of your personal tragedy. There’s more happening backstage than you realize, and your emotions are cranked so high you can’t tell genuine trouble from your own distorted feedback.
Not everything requires a dramatic meltdown worthy of a My Dying Bride album. Slow your roll, investigate before reacting, and keep your standards higher than your anxiety levels.
Focus on doing your own shit exceptionally well instead of drowning in imaginary catastrophes. And remember, just because you can turn every situation into a seventeen-minute doom epic doesn’t mean you should.
Your Lucky Song of The Week: Gorgatron – Cleansed
The Stars Have Spoken. Unfortunately.
Well, congratulations, you collection of celestial train wrecks. You’ve survived another week of planetary dysfunction, questionable decisions, and twelve brutally honest reminders that the universe has absolutely no intention of getting its shit together.
Aries needs a muzzle, Taurus needs brakes, Gemini needs an exorcism, and Leo needs an intervention before its ego becomes visible from space. Meanwhile, Libra is stealing the headliner’s spotlight, Virgo is one unsolicited opinion away from getting thrown out of the venue, and Pisces is probably crying into a My Dying Bride record.
And that’s only half the fucking problem.
Remember, metalheads, the stars might influence the setlist, but they don’t get to dictate your performance. Make your own decisions, own your disasters, and stop blaming Mercury every time you do something spectacularly stupid.
Come back next week for another twelve rounds of cosmic character assassination. Bring your friends, your enemies, and that one insufferable prick who desperately needs to read their horoscope.
Until then, keep your horns raised, your standards high, and your bullshit detector fully operational.
The universe is a circus, and apparently, we’re the fucking entertainment.

Metalhead Horoscope F.A.Q.
Q: Are these horoscopes real astrology or just jokes for metalheads?
A: Both. The horoscopes come from actual astrological forecasts, but the language is written in pure metalhead tongue- in-cheek because you deserve prophecy that sounds like a pit, not a PTA meeting.
Q: How do we pick the Lucky Song of the Week?
A: Each track is hand picked to echo the week’s cosmic vibe. If Mars is throwing horns, expect riffs sharp enough to cut steel. If the Moon is weeping in Virgo, you’ll get a track that slays with precision. No boring playlists, no cookie cutter picks. Just new drops, deep cuts and cult classics.
Q: Can metal really mix with astrology?
A: Of course. Both are about cycles, transformation, and intensity. Astrology tells you where the stars are screaming and metal tells you how to scream back.
Q: Why should I care about astrology if I only worship riffs and distortion?
A: Because the cosmos is basically the ultimate tour manager that’s setting the stage, flipping the lights, and sometimes cancelling the gig. You don’t have to believe in it to bang your head to it.
Q: Do we take requests for Lucky Songs in our horoscopes?
A: Absolutely. Drop your ideas in the comments or shoot us a message. We might just spin your favorite band into the cosmic setlist next week.
Q: Does Metal Lair have other series like this?
A: Yes! Metal Lair runs several signature series that explore every corner of heavy music:
- Seven Deadly Songs – A weekly roundup of the most unholy new releases.
- Deep Cuts: Metal’s Hidden Gems and lost recordings from rock and metal history.
- A Rip in Time: Women in Metal – A series celebrating the voices, pioneers, and rule-breakers reshaping heavy music’s DNA

- Road Riffs: Metal On The Map – We take metal beyond the speakers and onto the highway, exploring legendary venues, scene-defining cities, historic landmarks, local haunts, and travel stops tied to real
metal scenes around the world that every metalhead should experience.
