Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s Final Concert

Mercury Studios is in the midst of editing a riveting 100 minute concert film, “Back to the Beginning: Ozzy’s Final Bow,” slated for a theatrical release in early 2026. This cinematic tribute captures the historic final performance at Birmingham’s Villa Park on July 5, 2025, where Ozzy and the original Black Sabbath lineup reunited on stage for the first time since 2005.

Crafted as a love letter to Ozzy himself and the groundbreaking thunder of Sabbath’s sound, the movie highlights the day long extravaganza, including razor sharp renditions of “War Pigs,” “Iron Man,” “Children of the Grave,” and a show stopping “Paranoid.” Dive beyond the stage with exclusive backstage access and intimate interviews for a deeply personal curtain call experience.

The event pulled in around 42,000 fans live and over 5.8 million streamers internationally, with proceeds shattering records raising north of £140 million (about $190 million) for charities including Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Acorn Children’s Hospice, and the Cure Parkinson’s Trust.

Ozzy, now 76, performed seated his Parkinson’s and recent spinal surgeries preventing him from standing yet still delivered powerful performances from his solo vault, including hits like “Crazy Train” and “Mama, I’m Coming Home,” before rejoining Sabbath for a final four song electric finale  .

Post-release, a physical edition (Blu‑Ray/DVD/4K) will follow later in 2026. And for those craving even more insight, Ozzy’s deep dive into his health battles and farewell experience will arrive this year via Paramount+ in the documentary “No Escape From Now,” offering unfiltered commentary on his Parkinson’s, surgeries, and final bow.

It’s the original lineup’s final vow, together for the first time in 20 years, bidding adieu in their birthplace. It’s a massive cultural moment: record-breaking charity funds, half a stadium full, and a flood of global viewers.
