MOTÖRHEAD Releases ‘Bomber: The Demos’ EP

Motörhead, the legendary English rock band formed in 1975 by the iconic Lemmy Kilmister, is celebrated for its raw energy and distinctive blend of rock, punk, and metal. With an unmistakable sound characterized by aggressive guitar riffs and pounding rhythms, the band gained a devoted following and left a lasting impact on the music scene. Hits like “Ace of Spades” and “Overkill” showcased their relentless spirit and rebellious attitude, resonating with fans across generations. Their commitment to authenticity and the “live fast, die young” ethos cemented Motörhead as one of the most beloved and influential bands in history, inspiring countless musicians and solidifying their status as true legends.

MOTÖRHEAD has released “Bomber: The Demos” EP to commemorate the 45th anniversary of their iconic album “Bomber.” This limited-edition 10-inch blue vinyl EP features three previously unreleased demos and is available exclusively at the official MOTÖRHEAD store, along with special anniversary merchandise bundles.

“Bomber” is a cornerstone of heavy metal, showcasing the legendary lineup of Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister, “Fast” Eddie Clarke, and Phil “Philthy Animal” Taylor. This beloved album solidified their status as one of rock’s definitive bands and influenced countless others. To celebrate this milestone, fans can now explore a selection of “lost” demos from the “Bomber” sessions, including favorites like “Dead Men Tell No Tales,” “Lawman,” and “Alligator” (which evolved into “All The Aces”).

The “Bomber: The Demos” EP is accompanied by a reimagined illustration of the classic Heinkel He 111 bomber from the original album cover.

Tragically, Clarke, Taylor, and Lemmy, who collectively contributed to five albums—MOTÖRHEAD’s self-titled debut in 1977, “Overkill,” “Bomber,” “Ace Of Spades,” and “Iron Fist”—are no longer with us, having passed away between 2015 and 2018.
