Face Yourself have dropped a powerful new track ahead of their upcoming Martyr EP. The deathcore outfit is set to unveil the full five-song release on April 18 via Sumerian Records, giving fans a taste of what’s to come with their latest single, Predatory.

Describing the song, the band explains that it tells a modern tale infused with metaphorical imagery. “It’s about attending a dance with a mysterious stranger, only to realize you’re in a perilous situation,” they share.

As for the EP, Face Yourself dive deep into the complexities of mental health struggles. “Martyr delves into the fight against inner demons and the vulnerability that comes with it,” they say. “The lyrics explore standing your ground, yet also grappling with the inevitable setbacks that come with healing. Mental health recovery isn’t a straight path—it often takes multiple attempts to mend past wounds.”

Working with producer Joey Sturgis, the band sought to channel these emotions through intense instrumentals, gripping melodies, and raw vocals.
