Finnish folk metal war machine Ensiferum are returning to North America this September, bringing their newly forged Winter Storm Over North America headlining tour across the US and Canada.
The run kicks off with a high-profile appearance at ProgPower USA in Atlanta before carving its way across the continent, closing out on September 27 in Seattle. Joining them on this campaign is Greek power metal force Firewind, adding an extra layer of firepower to an already formidable lineup.
The band states:
“We are very excited to come back to North America for this tour with Firewind in September. We’ll bring the Winter Storm on the stages, see you guys in the pit!”

The tour arrives in support of Winter Storm, Ensiferum’s latest full-length released via Metal Blade Records. Built around a sweeping fantasy narrative crafted by bassist Sami Hinkka, the album leans fully into the band’s signature blend of heroic melody, battle-ready riffs, and mythic storytelling.
ENSIFERUM‘s Winter Storm was produced by Janne Joutsenniemi, mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren, and includes guest appearances by Lassi Logrén on Nyckelharpa and violin and Mikko Mustonen on orchestration as well as Eleine’s Madeleine Liljestam who provides all vocals on “Scars In My Heart.”
