Def Leppard 2027 Tour Announced: 45 North American Dates With Goo Goo Dolls and The Struts

October 11, 2026

Written By Sabbatha Ashvale

Def Leppard 2027 Tour plans are officially underway, with the British hard rock legends announcing a massive 45-date North American run featuring Goo Goo Dolls and special guests The Struts. The tour begins March 2, 2027, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and concludes July 2 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The announcement brings together three bands representing different generations and interpretations of arena-ready rock music, with performances scheduled across the United States and Canada.

The extensive itinerary includes appearances at Madison Square Garden in New York City, the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, and major arenas throughout North America.

For Def Leppard, the tour represents another substantial chapter in a career approaching five decades of recording, performing, and maintaining a presence on the international concert circuit.

Def Leppard 2027 Tour Brings Three Generations of Rock Together

The Def Leppard 2027 Tour pairs one of Britain’s most commercially successful hard rock bands with the alternative rock songwriting of Goo Goo Dolls and the flamboyant, contemporary glam-rock energy of The Struts.

Def Leppard’s catalog includes enduring rock staples such as “Photograph,” “Rock Of Ages,” “Animal,” “Love Bites,” and “Pour Some Sugar On Me.”

Their breakthrough albums Pyromania and Hysteria helped establish the band as international arena headliners, combining layered guitar arrangements, elaborate vocal harmonies, and carefully constructed songwriting.

Goo Goo Dolls bring a different musical history to the tour.

Emerging from Buffalo, New York, in the 1980s, the band developed from its punk-influenced origins into one of alternative rock’s recognizable mainstream acts.

Songs including “Iris,” “Slide,” “Name,” and “Black Balloon” established their enduring presence on rock radio.

Meanwhile, British rockers The Struts will contribute their theatrical performance style and glam-influenced sound.

Fronted by Luke Spiller, the band has developed a reputation for energetic live performances and songs including “Could Have Been Me,” “Body Talks,” and “Kiss This.”

Although their musical backgrounds differ considerably, all three acts share an emphasis on large choruses, recognizable melodies, and live performances designed to engage substantial audiences.

Def Leppard Continue Their Touring Momentum

The Def Leppard 2027 Tour follows another active period for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees.

The group completed its third Las Vegas residency in 2026 and continued performing internationally, adding further mileage to an already extensive touring history.

Their current lineup features vocalist Joe Elliott, guitarists Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell, bassist Rick Savage, and drummer Rick Allen.

More than four decades after their arrival on the international rock scene, the band continues to perform for audiences spanning multiple generations.

The group’s catalog remains central to its appeal, particularly the enormous commercial success of Pyromania and Hysteria.

Those albums helped redefine the possibilities of hard rock in mainstream popular music, demonstrating how aggressive guitars, ambitious production, and pop-informed songwriting could coexist.

The band’s endurance also reflects its ability to navigate dramatic changes in the music industry, from physical record sales and MTV dominance to digital streaming and modern global touring.

Ticket Sales and City Of Hope Partnership

Tickets for the Def Leppard 2027 Tour will become available through several presale opportunities beginning October 12, 2026.

Def Leppard fan club members will receive early access beginning October 12 at 10 a.m. local time.

Additional Citi and Verizon presales will be available to eligible customers, with further presale opportunities scheduled throughout the week.

General ticket sales begin Friday, October 16, at 10 a.m. local time.

The tour will also support City Of Hope, a nonprofit cancer research and treatment organization.

For every ticket sold, $1 will be donated to the organization, supporting research and treatment initiatives for people facing cancer.

The partnership carries particular significance given guitarist Vivian Campbell’s public history with Hodgkin lymphoma.

A Major North American Rock Tour for 2027

With 45 concerts scheduled over four months, the Def Leppard 2027 Tour will cover an extensive geographical area.

The itinerary begins in the northeastern United States before moving through Canada, the Midwest, western states, and major markets throughout the South.

Canadian appearances include Montreal, Toronto, Quebec City, Vancouver, and Edmonton.

Florida fans will have an opportunity to catch the tour June 13 in Tampa at Benchmark International Arena.

Other notable stops include Los Angeles on May 1, Seattle on May 9, Atlanta on June 17, and New York City’s Madison Square Garden on June 23.

The tour concludes July 2 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
