Italian Old-school Death Metal band DARK REFLECTION will release its debut EP, “Under the Sign of Vlad Tepes”, on Pest Records on January13th 2025.
About Dark Reflection (Italy):
Originally started in 2022 as the one-man project of the guitarist and main songwriter Riccardo Silla to go back to the roots of death metal sound by combining the aggressiveness of Florida death metal with the viciousness of swedish death metal.
In the early 2023 Dark Reflection became a full band when it was joined by the drummer Lorenzo Domizi (ex Emperial Abyss, ex Bothers), the growler and producer Mauro “Ulag” Mancinelli (Deathcvlt, In Lacrimaes et Dolor, OsseltioN) and the guitarist Mike Rossi “The Unholy” (Scala Mercalli).
Soon after the band entered the Ulag Zone of Monte San Giusto (Italy) to record their debut EP called “Under the Sign of Vlad Țepeș“.
Furthermore it may be noted it’s also an historical concept album regarding the multiple engagements lead by Vlad the Impaler against the Ottomans, in order to regain the independence of his country.
