Going Off Release New Single ‘Salvation’, Out Today

October 17, 2025

UK hardcore punks Going Off have released their new single ‘Salvation’ today (October 17th), which is taken from their forthcoming record ‘Kill List II’, out October 31st.

“This track discusses how the losses in our lives, can be  necessary to pave the paths we walk today. Sometimes losing everything can mean starting from scratch.  To lose all you have in life can even be some people’s salvation. This is something I experienced myself so song is one that is very personal and honest to me.  Despite most of the songs on this record discussing types of loss, this one actually have a really positive message behind it, and is arguably our grooviest track to date.” – Jake/Going Off

GOING OFF have proven themselves to be an unwavering force in the U.K. hardcore scene. The band first sprung into people’s eardrums back in 2020 with the release of their self titled and ‘Destroy’ EPs. When lockdown was lifted, the band quickly cultivated a following due to their high impact shows and DIY mentality. GOING OFF aren’t a band to sit around and wait for things to happen, they get out there, make it happen and inspire people to do the same in the process.

‘Kill List II’ is the ferocious follow‑up to 2024’s Die Fast. This new release confronts the rawest of human experiences with brutal musical intensity. Lyrically, the EP is an unapologetic exploration of loss: of loved ones, of limbs, and of past versions of yourself. Across its tracks, the band channels grief, rage, and resilience into a sonic powerhouse that speaks to what it means to lose—and what it takes to keep going after everything falls apart.

Following the frantic energy and unrelenting speed of their 2024 record Die Fast, which Kerrang! praised as “speedy and savage hardcore that feels live in a dive bar”,  Kill List II takes those elements and bends them under the weight of emotional magnitude. Gone are the tongue‑in‑cheek samples and punk bravado—this time, every riff, break and vocal cut to the bone.

The band has spent a good portion of the past few years tearing up stages. Including an extensive UK tour with Employed To Serve and Pupil Slicer, as well as sharing the stage with the likes of Terror, Slapshot, Zulu, Scowl, Spaced, Gel and have sold out a bunch of their own headline shows.

Get ready to experience Going Off at their fiercest!
